New Malaysian High Commissioner calls on Deputy Minister External Affairs

The newly accredited Malaysian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Azmi Zainuddin paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera at the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday (07^th October, 2011). The Deputy Minister welcomed the new High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.

The two sides had in-depth discussions on deepen bilateral cooperation and beef up coordination on the Joint Commission Mechanism.  It was agreed to work on a trade and business delegation headed by the Malaysian Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka in the coming months.
